Situated near quaint downtown Centerville, Symphony at Centerville is a bright, suburban senior living community located near Southview Medical Center, Miami Valley Hospital and Kettering Medical Center as well as The Greene in Beavercreek, Dayton’s historic Oregon District and Cox Arboretum. Wake up every day in a safe, intentionally designed living space. We tend to the cooking, housekeeping and home maintenance so you can participate in social, cultural and exercise programs including live music concerts, “Laughter Yoga” and “Creative Minds”. Choose from a menu of seasonal, nutritious chef-prepared dishes at multiple dining venues.

Enjoy discreet, supportive care, a maintenance-free lifestyle including scheduled transportation, and boutique amenities. Spend every day living fully and experiencing greater well-being.

Our Philosophy

We believe a thoughtfully designed environment filled with good neighbors and a caring staff, along with nutritious food, accessible exercise programs and opportunities to connect and engage every day, are the right combination for optimal living.

For older people living alone, these important elements can become harder to maintain – making home a challenging, unsafe, even lonely place to be.

That’s why we offer a community for older people where living is easier, surroundings are safer – and together is better.

How we’re showing gratitude in August

For leaving our minds better than you found them – thank you, teachers.

Teachers influence the future by awakening curiosity, confidence and creativity, and opening our minds to possibilities. As educators head back to the classroom this month, we’re showing our gratitude by supporting their essential work and sharing personal stories of those who made a difference in our lives.

Come see how we’re celebrating teachers in August at one of our featured events!

Our mother was at Symphony at Centerville for over a year until her passing. The facility has so much to offer...a courtyard for residents to get some fresh air, a wonderful activities program, tasty food, and very clean environment. The staff at... Symphony shows every resident so much kindness, respect and love. It is evident that the staff all have a special heart for memory care...they love all of the residents and treat them like they are their own more

Hi, Its VelvieMy husband of 48 years George Hall lives at Symphony. I miss him every day but I know he is in the best care I could ever wish for. I love Shawn, Rae, Stephanie, and Chelsea. I am in my 80s and I can not always come to visit so I call... Shawn when he is at the desk and he checks on George for me. He goes out of his way to make sure my husband looks nice. That he is shaved, in nice clothes and always ready for visitors. I enjoy talking to those workers because I am alone at home and they are my family now. Shawn brings a wheel chair to my car to get me when I come and visit, he writes Georges name in all his clothes for me. I sit and talk with Stephanie and Chelsea and Rae. Rae decorates so beautiful at all her parties. I know the Covid made it really hard to come visit and Rae would use her telephone to call me so I could see George. The building is so clean, I tell everyone I know how clean it is. Everyone works so hard and I just love them. Love Velvaread more

This is a wonderful place. All the people are so kind and caring and I love all of them! It's the truth! My husband gets wonderful care and he is always active. Many activities keep him cheerful.

I just love this place. All the staff and resident family member’s are so close that everyone seems like family.

We moved Mom here after becoming unhappy at another location. We were hooked after the tour - such a huge difference in the physical environment and activities. The staff here fully engages with the residents. They're not stuck in their rooms all... day. They're encouraged to interact with each other with fun activities. Mom is healthier because of their attention to the mind and body. The facility is clean and looks like a fancy hotel. The staff seems happy and are always so kind and friendly to both us and Mom. Good staffing is the key and Symphony must be treating their team well. I wish we'd moved Mom here more

I have worked closely with both Dani and Carrie at the Symphony and I cant begin to tell you how wonderful they are as well as the staff at the facility. I have witnessed first hand the care and compassion for all of the residents and the kindness... they share with not only their residents but also with the community. Thanks Symphony, you deserve 5 stars for the 5 star service you more

My mother spent 1 year at Symphony after 7 months at another assisted living facility. Symphony’s facility and especially the people are incredible. Almost all the residents have dementia and the staff is remarkable in their dealing with the... residents. All the staff all the time. The cleaning lady, the maintenance man, the kitchen staff, the aids and the nurses all treat the patients with a smile and unbelievable patience. I never witnessed a staff member lose their patience with a resident. And I spent a lot of time there, especially at dinner in a full dining room. The facility was always clean as well as moms room. Unlike the previous facility, I rarely smelled urine. The rooms had a home style furnace and AC in a locked closet with a covered thermostat versus a hotel style unit at the other facility. Huge improvement and no tampering by the resident.I just can’t say enough good things about the staff and how they treated the residents. Like each resident was their own family member.Staff turnover seemed quite low which is also a good more

My mother has lived at Symphony at Centerville for almost two years now, while we’ve had our ups and downs here and there they have really perfected their craft. The staff is wonderful, especially the caregiver Joyce, the cooks are excellent, we... really like Karen and our mothers room was always tidy when we were there. My family can’t say enough about Rae, the Activities DIrector she truly loves what she does and it shows. Rae has been even more amazing during the shutdown with FaceTime calls, porch visits, sending pictures of my mother and the list goes on! She has become apart of our family during our mother’s time at Symphony and my mother adores her, she can always get her to smile or laugh even in her current state. Symphony is a wonderful place, we are glad we found it! Thank you for everything you do!read more
