Situated near scenic Iroquois Park, Symphony at Valley Farms is a vibrant, warm senior living community located near Park Terrace Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital  as well as Valley Commons Shopping Center and many restaurants and other convenient shopping. Wake up every day in a safe, intentionally designed living space. We tend to the cooking, housekeeping and home maintenance so you can participate in social, cultural and exercise programs including musical entertainment, yoga for flexibility and balance and painting lessons. Choose from a menu of seasonal, nutritious chef-prepared dishes at multiple dining venues.

Enjoy discreet, supportive care, a maintenance-free lifestyle including scheduled transportation, and boutique amenities. Spend every day living fully and experiencing greater well-being.

Our Philosophy

We believe a thoughtfully designed environment filled with good neighbors and a caring staff, along with nutritious food, accessible exercise programs and opportunities to connect and engage every day, are the right combination for optimal living.

For older people living alone, these important elements can become harder to maintain – making home a challenging, unsafe, even lonely place to be.

That’s why we offer a community for older people where living is easier, surroundings are safer – and together is better.

How we’re showing gratitude in August

For leaving our minds better than you found them – thank you, teachers.

Teachers influence the future by awakening curiosity, confidence and creativity, and opening our minds to possibilities. As educators head back to the classroom this month, we’re showing our gratitude by supporting their essential work and sharing personal stories of those who made a difference in our lives.

Come see how we’re celebrating teachers in August at one of our featured events!

It was a very tough decision to move Mom out of her home. Symphony at Valley Farms is a beautiful, welcoming community. The first person we met there was Brandy. She is a sweet, caring and very compassionate person. She has been so helpful... getting Mom established in her new home. Dana, Christine, Alysia, Larry and Faye have also been so understanding, helpful and compassionate. All of the employees that we have met are wonderful, caring individuals. I know we made the right decision for Mom. If you are looking for a welcoming, caring community for your loved one, I highly recommend Symphony at Valley more

My mom LOVES it here (she's a "younger" resident here)! I had to move her from the Chicago area, closer to me. Everything from our tour with Brandy to the care and kindness from everyone else has been exceptional. My mom constantly tells me how... everyone is so nice here and she never wants to leave. They've done a great job taking care of my mom and are so friendly to me and my family when we go for visits. Moving my mom here was the best choice and I'm so grateful how much she loves living more

We moved my mom to Symphony after she had a fall last summer. She initially went to a rehab facility, but when she was discharged, we knew she couldn’t return home. When we toured Symphony, we were impressed with the facility, but even more than... that, we were impressed with the staff. Brandy and all of the staff at Symphony helped make this transition as easy as possible for Mom. They are all so friendly and compassionate. Mom feels very safe and very comfortable, and I have peace and comfort knowing that she is cared for around the more

I like Mt Aunt's place

When we began talking to Brandy Garcia about mom being a resident there, she was friendly and extremely helpful as we weighed options with mom's needs. Since that initial conversation we've stayed in touch and we've appreciated the interest in Mom's... health. When Mom fell in July, going home was not an option, so after a hospital stay she is now a resident at Symphony at Valley Farms. The staff has been courteous and have taken really good care of Mom. She still hopes to go home some day, but in the meantime, we've found a great place for her to recover and be cared more
