2507 Old Saint Augustine Rd,
Tallahassee, FL

Situated on a historic canopy road of majestic oak trees, St. Augustine Plantation is a warm, friendly, and relaxed senior living community located near Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Capital Regional Medical Center and CRMC Urgent Care as well as Governor’s Square Mall, Midtown Shopping and Wakulla Springs. Wake up every day in a safe, intentionally designed living space. We tend to the cooking, housekeeping and home maintenance so you can participate in social, cultural and exercise programs including day trips, yoga and painting classes. Choose from a menu of seasonal, nutritious chef-prepared dishes in our main dining area or a more intimate setting in our private dining room with  friends and family.

Enjoy discreet, supportive care, a maintenance-free lifestyle including scheduled transportation, and boutique amenities. Spend every day living fully and experiencing greater well-being.

Our Philosophy

We believe a thoughtfully designed environment filled with good neighbors and a caring staff, along with nutritious food, accessible exercise programs and opportunities to connect and engage every day, are the right combination for optimal living.

For older people living alone, these important elements can become harder to maintain – making home a challenging, unsafe, even lonely place to be.

That’s why we offer a community for older people where living is easier, surroundings are safer – and together is better.

How we’re showing gratitude in August

For leaving our minds better than you found them – thank you, teachers.

Teachers influence the future by awakening curiosity, confidence and creativity, and opening our minds to possibilities. As educators head back to the classroom this month, we’re showing our gratitude by supporting their essential work and sharing personal stories of those who made a difference in our lives.

Come see how we’re celebrating teachers in August at one of our featured events!

St. Augustine Plantation made a very hard and dark time in our lives a lot brighter. They took excellent care of our mother for the last six weeks of her life and were so accomadating and helpful. They worked with us every step of the way, and we... cannot express how much we appreciate all the great work the administration, nurses and aides put in. Thank you for being there for more

After being between a rock and hard place, making tough decisions and trying to get it right: The guidance, information and advice form Nicole and the team at St Augustine Plantation was invaluable. Nicole provided the experience and insight that... helped us understand the options, challenges and opportunities for the best short term and long term care we were looking for, for a friend in need. Competent compassion goes a long way. I recommend St Augustine and cannot thank them enough for their more

Would recommend this place to everyone looking for an assisted living facility. Not only was the facility gorgeous but, the care staff was so nice when I was touring the facility for my grandfather. Another thing that also sets this place a part... from the rest is that the food is so amazing, which is something that I believe to be rare with most more

Megan (facilities manager), Crystal (DON), Muriel (ADON), Samantha (RN) and Derrick (Chef Walker, Director of Culinary) were so good to my mother. They all had small touches that made my mom's stay wonderful. When I was out of town, they took... special care sending me photos to assure me she was okay. My mom always had a smile and was always healthy, telling me, they are "all good to me." I thank God that she chose this facility for more

Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff

My mother-in-law has been at St. Augustine Plantation for a little over 5 years. I have seen how pleased my wife is with the care given to her mother. All of the staff at SAP is extraordinary, especially during these difficult times dealing with the... pandemic, but she has highlighted these special persons for recognition: Kelsey Saunders, who handles transportation for medial appointments and so much more. His kindness in dealing with persons with cognitive problems is so touching; Crystal Brown, the head nurse of the wonderful nursing staff, always available to deal with whatever needs to be dealt with; Tamarion Lindsey, a medical technician, who stays on top of all prescriptions; and Samantha Campbell, on the nursing staff, whose gentle compassion is always appreciated. By naming these four, so many others are being left out, but please know we appreciate all of your more

My husband has been at St Augustine Plantation for almost 7 months, and I think the staff has done an awesome job of making the best of the very difficult situation caused by the COVID-19. They do their best to keep life as interesting as possible... for the residents, and they clearly care a lot for the people there. I've also really appreciated the updates about what's going more

My Dad has been living at SAP since December of 2017 and I am very pleased with his care. I particularly want to give extra kudos to Dave and Austin both nurses that have gone out of their way during this pandemic to aide me in making sure my Dad... is receiving the attention and care he needs. Maria and the custodial staff need to be recognized as well. I highly recommend SAP for their assisted living facility. Oh, and Thursday Omelette Breakfast can't be beat. I have eaten in their dining room...excellent taste and portion sized. Thank you to all for going above the call of duty during these unpresident more

So grateful to the dedicated staff at St. Augustine Plantation for taking such tender, constant and excellent care of mom during the COVID shutdown. It has been so difficult to not see her, except on a screen, but they have bent over backwards to... keep us connected. And on our video monitor, I can see how gentle, patient and nurturing the staff is with her. So glad to have the help of SAP in this terribly challenging more
